So im listening to Natasha bedingfields song " Pocket Full Of Sunshine", and im wondering what it would be like to actually posses a pocket full of sunshine and a love that was just yours and nobody elses. I dont think its possible to only love one person throughout your whole life time... just a thought?!... I do like the general message of the song and her funky british accent!> you cant control me! you cant control me!
Hmmm...possible to love just one person. Wait until, if you choose to, you have children. Then you discover a new kind of love that, as special and eventually mature as your romantic/lifelong partner love is, eclipses that love.
ReplyDeleteBiology, maybe...protecting your offspring so they can carry on the line. But either way, it manifests itself in such an empathetic way that when a goal gets past my sons, or they strike out at the plate, or they lose their game face and start to walk batters...well, you just want to run out and hug them. Just try doing that when they have a bat in their hands. You'll be beaten, I bet.
I believe it's possible to love (romantically) more than one person in your lifetime. Hearts "get broken" along the way, maybe, and yet you open up again and find each time, the love grows deeper. Then again, I have friends who've had one true relationship, only one of which ended in divorce.
How can you really ask this question, Kionna? Don't you love kitty? Aren't you still open for or already in love with another?
Answer solved from just my two cents.
Peace out and thanks for directing me to your blog.
